Life's Too Short! is a 1 minute life simulator: birth, life and death in 60 seconds!
Players age every 12 seconds, which means they'll move and interact with the world differently depending on their age. The world they're placed in is big and full of opportunities, but not enough time to explore them all. They can go to school, get a job, breed snails, star in a movie or even become president and change the world, but they only have a minute. Once they pass, players receive a eulogy detailing the life they just lived.
And then they can live another life.
Armed with the wisdom of the previous lifetime, players begin again, and may explore the world in a new, different way. In their previous playthrough, they may have picked up some hints and clues that they put into practice now, leading them down a new path to new outcomes and new hints, which they put into practice in the NEXT lifetime.
The presidency might at first seem unattainable, far in the distance protected by a wall built by a previous administration to keep common folk out. But, through generations passing down wisdom and with lifetimes of play and experience, the path to the presidency might reveal itself.
Or you could just make snails have LOADS of babies and then die in a hole. That's perfectly valid too!

This game has more paths to take than I originally expected, it has your signature charm and I enjoyed getting through 5 or 6 playthroughs before I found (earned?) presidency. I had fun! I found that the toddler’s grab and push controls were under-utilised, though, hopefully there will be more options for each control scheme that are close enough to spawn to do in time in the final version. And it’s a shame that you often don’t get enough time to read an entire set of dialogue before dying– maybe pausing the game during dialogue would help.
hello!. So, I recently did a compilation of several one minute long games. Yours is in my video. I'm not quite sure where it's at, because it's a bit of a long video, but if you scroll through I'm sure you can find it. Or if you just want to watch the whole video there is also that. . So this game was a real trip. It was really enjoyable rushing through life within 60 seconds. I found that concept to be really interesting. I wish I had more time to explore the area, but the rules are the rules, so it needed to be about a minute long. I really liked it. Good job. That's said, I hope you enjoy my video, and if you get a chance maybe given the like or comment.. Anything helps. But of course, no stress, you don't need to, it just helps me if you do.
